Leading the Lowcountry

in the pursuit of equity and the mobilization of

black-owned businesses.

After launching in 2020, BlacQuity has worked with over 30 black entrepreneurs through our core program, Black Equity University: a 12-week business course that equips our entrepreneurs with essential business knowledge, skills, connections in the community and resources in order to run or launch a successful business.

What We Do

Black Equity University
(BEU)

Our core program: a 12-week business class offered to local, black entrepreneurs to learn the ins and outs of running a business or refresh their skills.

One-on-One
Coaching

Entrepreneurs in our program are paired with a business coach for mentorship and encouragement as they complete the 12-week program and beyond.

Monthly
Networking Events

Entrepreneurs are invited to monthly networking events, known as “Motivation Mondays.” These are an opportunity to network with and learn from local business leaders.

Black-Owned
Business Directory

Our directory features

entrepreneurs who have completed our program as well as all black-owned businesses in the Lowcountry in order to elevate visibility and connect them with prospective customers.
