About BlacQuity

Beginning as an initiative of the Bluffton MLK Observance Committee, BlacQuity was formed by a group of multi-racial business and community leaders in the Lowcountry. In 2020, they came together with the vision to elevate, empower and promote local black-owned businesses. 

BlacQuity was born.

Since launching in 2020, BlacQuity has worked with over 30 black entrepreneurs through our core program, Black Equity University: a 12-week business course that equips our entrepreneurs with essential business knowledge, skills, connections in the community and resources in order to run or launch a successful business.
